Parents & guardians can come connect with each other while toddlers play with tunnels, play huts, and toys. We’ll also sing songs, rhymes, and read books. Best for ages 1-5.

Come and read stories, sing songs, and play with bubbles and toys! Best for ages 0 - 4.

Movie Club
Movie Club

Best for ages 5+. Enjoy a chill flick in the cool library this summer. Watch one of the latest kid's movies with us while enjoying a snack with family and friends.

Drawing Class
Drawing Class

Best for ages 6+. Learn a new art technique using different materials and create awesome artwork to decorate your fridge, room or give as a gift. Wear your favorite art shirt or apron in case of art mess. Registration suggested.

Sort the Recycles
Sort the Recycles

Oh no! The library has collected too many recycled materials. We’ll need help sorting through them all! Once you have sorted them, come to the Help Desk to see if you put them in the right bins, and get a prize.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Midlothian Library will celebrate your child's reading journey with our "1000 Books Before Kindergarten" Challenge.

Sign up for this challenge at the library's help desk and receive a tote bag and necessary materials.
Collect prizes as your child reaches reading milestones. Attend a book-themed party in August to celebrate their progress.
