Dear Library Patrons,

During this period of closure, our staff have been hard at work to make library resources more accessible to you from outside the library. Here's what is new today.

Free WiFi in Parking Lot

During our closure, free WiFi will be accessible from the library parking lot. To comply with the social distancing requirements of our Governor’s Executive Order, we are requiring that WiFi users do so from inside vehicles only . We are grateful to the Midlothian Police Department for their assistance in patrolling our parking lot when we are closed. If they report to us that individuals are not following this directive to remain in their cars, we may be forced to turn off the WiFi for the sake of public safety.

New eBooks and eResources

Several publishers and vendors have been working with us to generously provide low-cost or free content that would normally cost the library a significant amount of money. Today we were fortunate to be able to add Tumblebooks , which includes instant, unlimited books for readers of all ages!

To access all our eBooks and eMedia, go to and click DIGITAL LIBRARY > E-MEDIA.If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at the address below.

Wishing you safety and wellness,
