Dear Library Patrons,

In light of the recent surge in coronavirus cases, the state of Illinois today released new guidance urging all residents, for the next three weeks, to "stay home as much as possible, leaving only for necessary and essential activities, such as work that must be performed outside the home, COVID-19 testing, visiting the pharmacy, and buying groceries."

In the interest of keeping our public and our staff as safe as possible, we will be making a few adjustments to our procedures. Effective November 12, will be strictly enforcing a 1-hour per patron per day limit on computer or study table use. In addition, we will reduce our maximum capacity to 8 patrons at a time.

Our doors will be unlocked for our entire regular open hours.

You are encouraged, but not required, to call ahead to make an appointment for a computer or study table.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we all work together to look after the health of ourselves and our neighbors during this trying time.
