As we close out this week, here is what to expect coming up in the week ahead from the library:

Online Library Board Meeting

Tuesday, April 21, at 7:00 PM the Midlothian Public Library Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled meeting online, per the adaptations to the Open Meetings Act authorized by Governor Pritzker's Executive Order. Options for the public to attend the open meeting online or by phone as well as options for submitting public comment are all at the top of the agenda posted on the library's website. In addition, the meeting will be recorded and the recording made available for one week following the meeting on the library's YouTube channel.

Book Talks on Monday, April 20 at 6:30 PM will discuss the short story "The Adventure of the Cardboard Box" by Arthur Conan Doyle, available through our Overdrive/Libby/Media On Demand free e-book service or free online. Join by going to, via the free Zoom app using Meeting ID 716 484 652, or by dialing 1-312-626-6799 and entering the same Meeting ID.

Family Fun Bilingual Storytime with Miss Adriana will make its online debut Tuesday, April 21 at 6:00 PM on Facebook Live. Follow our Facebook Page so you don't miss it.
