The Friends of the Midlothian Public Library is a community organization which supports the library in its efforts to provide quality services and programs for the people of Midlothian. Originally formed to assist with the building program in 1987, the current emphasis is on fundraising. Most of the children's programming is funded by the Friends group. In addition, the Friends provide two to four adult programs a year, supports the Reading Clubs and fund special purchases or projects.
Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting our library. Staff and Library Board members are automatically considered Friends of the Library, even if they do not support the group financially. Staff and board members are exempt from holding office according to the by-laws. Dues are $5.00 for an individual or $10.00 for a business or group per year (April – March).

Membership dues are $5.00 for an individual and $10.00 for Businesses or Groups. Whether or not you are a member please support the Friends of the Midlothian Library by attending our events. |
