Teen Summer Reading Program

Guidelines

· Program activities and events are open to all teens.

· Teens are age 13 or  entering 8th grade, through age 18 or 12th grade.

· Registration  begins Monday, June 7th

· Teen Summer Reading Program starts Monday, June 14th

· Summer reading club and prizes are open to Midlothian teens.

· Read 3 books to receive tee-shirt and be eligible for grand prize drawing!

Teen Summer Reading Kick-Off!

Young Adult author Norm Cowie

is coming to Midlothian Public Library!

Tuesday, June 15th @ 6:30 p.m.

To kick-off a summer of scary reading, we’re hosting the author of the  frighteningly funny book, Fang Face.  Come hear Norm Cowie engage us in a lively and funny discussion of Fang Face, as well as the sequel to this smash hit!   He will also sign copies of his book afterwards.

ANIME ART WORKSHOP—PART ONE!

Join us as comic book illustrator, Jared Day, provides instruction on the techniques used to create awesome Japanese animation also known as “anime.” Come and keep what you draw!
